On the day a juvenile from his final crop sold for seven figures, the influence of the great A.P. Indy continued to be apparent at the Fasig-Tipton Florida sale of selected 2-year-olds in training.
Of the sale's top 10 highest-priced horses, nine were sired by A.P. Indy, one of his sons, or a grandson. That included the sale topper, a Bernardini colt who went for $1.6 million to Robert LaPenta.
