ARCADIA, Calif. (April 3, 2013)—Idle since winning the Grade I, seven furlong Malibu Stakes on opening day, Dec. 26, Jimmy Creed will break from the outside in Saturday’s Grade II, $150,000 Potrero Grande Stakes for older horses at 6 ½ furlongs—a race which has attracted a field of eight hard-hitting sprinters.

Trained by Richard Mandella, Jimmy Creed won the Malibu at odds of 8-1 by three quarters of a length and earned a Beyer Speed figure of 105, his third lifetime Beyer of 100 or better.
