Flemenstar appears set to make his debut for Tony Martin in Sunday’s Boylesports.com Fortria Chase at Navan.

One of the stars of the last National Hunt season when trained by Peter Casey, he was moved to Martin by his owner, Stephen Curran, who felt he would benefit from a change of routine having ended his campaign as a sick horse at Aintree.

Flemenstar won the two-mile Grade Two 12 months ago, after which he was stepped up in trip, while Martin could also run Dedigout.

Willie Mullins has two entries, Arvika Ligeonniere, a winner of three Grade Ones as a novice chaser last season, and Sanctuaire, bought out of Paul Nicholls’ yard for 170,000.

Days Hotel ran several good races last year and may represent Henry de Bromhead, while Tom Cooper has entered Lucky William who ended last season on a real high.

Gordon Elliott’s Realt Mor is likely to strip fitter for his seasonal return and may be joined by stablemate Toner D’Oudairies. Noel Meade’s Realt Dubh is in the mix, too, while Denis Cullen’s Rubert completes the 10 possibles.

Mouse Morris’ promising Rule The World is one of 11 entries in the Boylesports Download App Lismullen Hurdle on the same card.

A smart novice last term when only The New One finished in front of him at Cheltenham in March, he suffered what appeared at the time to be a serious injury at Punchestown. Thankfully, he made a quick recovery and began his season in the perfect fashion with a win at Naas.

Rule The World is owned by Gigginstown House Stud who could also be represented by Martin’s Fortria entry Dedigout and Gordon Elliott’s Un Beau Matin. The veteran Captain Cee Bee may run for Eddie Harty having looked as good as ever when winning at Tipperary.

Willie Mullins has four entries in Mikael D’Haguenet, Mourad, Sweet My Lord and Zaidpour.

Jetson, Mala Beach and Prima Vista complete the list.

Harty’s Minella Foru and and Noel Meade’s Very Wood are the names which catch the eye among 10 in the Boylesports.com “For Auction” Novice Hurdle.
