On a weekend where there were multiple new 3-year-olds to emerge on the Triple Crown trail with winning performances, none stood out more than Endorsement’s breakout effort in the $800,000 Sunland Derby (G3) Sunday. Only a maiden winner coming into the race, the regally-bred son of Distorted Humor rose from obscurity to blow past the previously unbeaten Conveyance and score an eye-catching victory, instantly making him a leading contender for the May 1st Kentucky Derby (G1). where did that race come from for Endorsement? been watching him all winter and would not have expected him to do what he did at Sunland. I guess I have to consider him a legit derby horse now.

I wonder what Albarado will do now since he also rides Noble’s Promise
