CASTLETOWN RETURNS TO TOP FORM, TAKES SANTA ANITA ALLOWANCE FEATURE WITH BEJARANO UP

ARCADIA, Calif. (March 8, 2013)—Even money favorite Castletown was sent from the gate and never headed en route to an impressive second condition allowance victory at Santa Anita on Friday under Rafael Bejarano, winning by 1 ¾ lengths while getting six furlongs in 1:09.34 on a wet fast main track.

Trained by Tim Yakteen, the lightly raced 5-year-old gelding by Orientate was fifth, beaten only 1 ¾ lengths in the Grade I Santa Anita Sprint Championship on Oct. 6, and came off a disappointing third place finish in a second condition allowance on Jan.
